However, for safety procedures, there are only parts of the lake recommended for swimming because of the sulfur vents at some sections.
The natural phenomenon years ago of Taal volcano erupting also left the residents of the island a life changing impact because some are paid by the guests in the island as they tour them around. Why not visit a place where its imperfection became its most confident charm?

“We had a great day out and some great views” First l must give credit too our driver Richard, who was full of local knowledge and made the day very easy. After arriving a quick boat trip across the lake , our local guide Melvin took on a brisk hike up to the top , which by our standards was not to hard except for the 36 degree heat and the 100% humidity which added a degree of difficulty but overall no issue. We were lucky it rained the night before and there was no dust for us to deal with and we hand not been bothered much by locals wanting to sell us items. The view was very nice and we enjoyed some good exercise then off to tagatay to have lunch when china was great and learning about the area was fascinating. Overall we enjoyed the day, but our driver and great knowledge of history and his Manner was what made it a lovely day.
